Wardogs Vehicle Weak Spots and How to Kill Every Ground Vehicle

Written by

Wardogs vehicle weak spots and the RPGs needed to destroy the L2A6 tank, SPH-2, Ural, Humvee, Bobcat, Buggy and Kodiak. Tested Oct 16, 2026 in Season 2.

Wardogs vehicle weak spots: the quick answer

The fastest way to destroy a vehicle in Wardogs is to hit its weak spot: the rear hull of the L2A6 tank and of the SPH-2 (3 RPGs each), and the left door, fuel tank or right engine grille of the Ural (1 RPG). Never shoot the front of the tank, which takes 8 RPGs. The Bobcat, Buggy and Kodiak each die to one RPG from any side.

Wardogs is a 100-player, three-team tactical shooter, and its vehicles can decide a match. The counts below are RPG hits from our firing-range tests on October 16, 2026 in Season 2. This guide covers the ground vehicles listed in the table; helicopters and vehicles without recorded results are outside its scope.

HumveeFront or side3Rear41

KodiakAnywhere1Anywhere10

Aiming matters most on the Ural, where the right spot saves up to 8 rockets, and on the tank, where it saves 5. The light vehicles die anywhere, so don't waste time lining them up. These are tested estimates, so carry one RPG more than the table says (see the quirks section below).

Tested by Aim Sector: October 16, 2026, Season 2. Last updated: October 16, 2026.

How to kill the L2A6 tank in Wardogs

The L2A6 (Leopard) is the heavy hitter on this list: its rear hull goes down in 3 RPGs, but its front takes 8.

Wardogs L2A6 tank weak spots: rear hull, turret, side hull and front hull

Tested October 16, 2026 — Season 2.

Hit locationRPGs to destroyNotes
Direct rear hull (weak spot)3One RPG to the rear engine also immobilizes the tank.
Side hull6Aim low at the mid-rear tracks or sprocket to de-track it
Rear turret6A good second target when the lower hull is behind cover
Front hull8Don't shoot the front

The fastest way to destroy it

  1. Get behind the tank. The rear hull is the only zone that goes down in 3 RPGs.
  2. Hit the rear engine first. One RPG there immobilizes the tank, so it stops chasing you.
  3. Finish with two more RPGs into the rear hull.
  4. Can't reach the rear hull? Go for the side and aim low at the mid-rear tracks or sprocket to de-track it. The side hull takes 6 RPGs to destroy.
  5. Lower hull behind cover? Hit the rear turret instead, also 6 RPGs.
  6. Skip the front. It takes 8 RPGs, more than double the rear hull.

How to kill the SPH-2 artillery in Wardogs

The SPH-2 is softer than the L2A6. It has two weak spots, both at the rear, and each goes down in 3 RPGs.

Wardogs SPH-2 artillery weak spots and RPG hit counts

Tested October 16, 2026 — Season 2.

Hit locationRPGs to destroyNotes
Rear hull (weak spot)3Same count as the L2A6's rear hull
Rear turret (weak spot)3The L2A6's rear turret takes 6, the SPH-2's dies in 3
Front hull5The L2A6's front takes 8
Side turret5Same as the front hull
Side hull6Tankier than the front hull or the side turret

How to destroy it

  1. Shoot it from behind. The rear hull and the rear turret both take 3 RPGs, so you don't need to pick a precise spot.
  2. If you can't get behind it, hit the front hull or the side turret. Both take 5 RPGs.
  3. Avoid the side hull. At 6 RPGs it is the toughest zone on the SPH-2.

How to kill a Ural truck in Wardogs

The Ural has the biggest gap between its best and worst hit location of any vehicle in Wardogs. Two weak spots destroy it with one RPG, while the rear takes up to 9.

Wardogs Ural weak spots: left door, fuel tank and right front engine grille

Tested October 16, 2026 — Season 2.

Hit locationUralArmed Ural
Left door and fuel tank (weak spot)1 RPG (one-shot)1 RPG (one-shot)
Right front engine grille (weak spot)1 RPG (one-shot)1 RPG (one-shot)
Rear cabin2 RPGsNot recorded
Center front4 RPGs4 RPGs
Side cargo bed5 RPGs4 RPGs
Direct rear7 RPGs9 RPGs

The armed Ural takes 2 more RPGs than the standard one from directly behind (9 against 7), and 1 fewer at the side cargo bed (4 against 5).

How to one-shot a Ural

  1. Aim at the left door and fuel tank, or at the right front engine grille. Either one destroys the truck with a single RPG.
  2. On a standard Ural, the rear cabin takes 2 RPGs.
  3. Don't shoot the cargo bed or the back. The side bed takes 4 or 5 RPGs, and directly behind takes 7 on the standard Ural and 9 on the armed one.
  4. If a one-shot spot doesn't kill it, fire again before changing your aim. Identical hits on the weak spots occasionally fail to one-shot (see the quirks section).

How to kill a Humvee, Bobcat, Buggy and Kodiak in Wardogs

Humvees take 3 to 5 RPGs. The Bobcat, Buggy and Kodiak each die to a single RPG from any side.

Wardogs Humvee weak spots and reduced-damage zones

Tested October 16, 2026 — Season 2.

How to destroy a Humvee

  1. Shoot the front or the side. Both take 3 RPGs. In our test, two RPGs ignited the Humvee; three hits destroyed it.
  2. Avoid the rear. It takes 4 RPGs, or 4 to 5 on the armed Humvee.
  3. On the armed Humvee, don't aim at the top turret or the trunk lid. They take reduced damage.
  4. No RPG? Armor-piercing rounds can strip its tires. See the section on killing vehicles without an RPG.

Bobcat, Buggy and Kodiak

Don't spend time lining these up. One RPG kills any of them from the front, side or rear, including the Kodiak.

Other ways to take a vehicle down

The counts in this guide are for the RPG. Here is what we know about the alternatives.

OptionWhat it does
5.56mm armor-piercing rounds10 to 11 shots strip one Humvee tire completely, and two popped tires cripple its mobility

Why your shots may not match this guide

The numbers are tested estimates, not guarantees. Three quirks can change a result:

  • Damage varies. Identical-looking hits on a weak spot, like the Ural's one-shot zones, occasionally fail to one-shot because of hitbox overlap. Carry one RPG more than the table says.
  • Tire hits can bleed through. Direct hits on tires sometimes pass heavy damage to the hull compartments next to them.
  • Placed explosives can desync. Grenades, C4 and mounted weapons can register their blast on a different vehicle hitbox than the one where they visibly landed.

Wardogs vehicle weak spots FAQ

What are the weak points of each vehicle in Wardogs?

The L2A6 tank and the SPH-2 are weakest at the rear hull (3 RPGs). The Ural dies to 1 RPG at the left door and fuel tank or at the right front engine grille. The Humvee is weakest at the front and side (3 RPGs). The Bobcat, Buggy and Kodiak die to 1 RPG anywhere.

How many RPGs does it take to destroy a tank in Wardogs?

The L2A6 takes 3 RPGs at the rear hull, 6 at the side hull or the rear turret, and 8 at the front hull.

What is the weak spot of the L2A6 tank?

The direct rear hull. One RPG into the rear engine also immobilizes the tank.

How do you kill the SPH-2 in Wardogs?

Hit the rear hull or the rear turret, which take 3 RPGs each. The front hull and side turret take 5, and the side hull takes 6.

Where do you hit a Ural to one-shot it?

Aim at the left door and fuel tank, or at the right front engine grille. Either takes 1 RPG.

How many RPGs does it take to destroy a Humvee?

3 RPGs from the front or side, and 4 from the rear. The armed Humvee takes 3 from the front or side and 4 to 5 from the rear.

Can you one-shot a Bobcat, Buggy or Kodiak?

Yes. Each dies to 1 RPG from any side.

Why didn't my RPG one-shot the weak spot?

Identical-looking hits on a weak spot occasionally fail to one-shot because of hitbox overlap. Fire again, and carry one RPG more than the table says.
