ECC: REDLINE System Requirements: Minimum and Recommended PC Specs

Check ECC: REDLINE's PC system requirements, including confirmed Windows support and reported GPU, RAM, and storage requirements for the first test.

ECC: REDLINE requires a 64-bit PC running Windows 10 or Windows 11, according to its official Steam listing. NetEase has not yet published complete minimum and recommended hardware specifications for the game's full release.

The first limited PC test is scheduled for October 15, 2026. Its recruitment announcement includes a system requirements graphic; the provisional GPU, RAM, and storage figures below still require verification against that original graphic.

Those reported specifications are useful for prospective testers, but they should not be confused with confirmed requirements for the final Steam release.

ECC: REDLINE minimum and recommended system requirements

The official Steam page currently lists the same operating system requirements for both minimum and recommended configurations.

ComponentMinimumRecommended

Processor64-bit CPU required; model not listed64-bit CPU required; model not listed

RAMNot announced on SteamNot announced on Steam

These are the specifications currently displayed by NetEase on Steam, not estimated hardware recommendations.

The missing entries do not mean that any graphics card or amount of memory will be sufficient. They simply have not been specified on the global store page.

Reported requirements for the October 15 PC playtest

NetEase's official Chinese test recruitment announcement directs applicants to check a hardware requirements chart before registering.

The following provisional test specifications have not been independently verified against the original requirements graphic:

ComponentReported minimumReported recommended
Graphics cardNVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060
RAM16 GB32 GB
Storage150 GB150 GB
ProcessorNot specified in the reportNot specified in the report

These numbers are provisional. They come from a community account of the playtest requirements and have not been independently verified against the individual specifications in NetEase's original graphic.

The reported storage figure also does not establish whether an SSD is mandatory.

Players applying for the test should consult the original recruitment materials rather than treating this table as the definitive hardware specification.

Can your PC run ECC: REDLINE?

The only requirements confirmed on the global Steam listing are a 64-bit processor and Windows 10 or Windows 11.

For players evaluating the October 15 test, the reported RTX 2060 minimum and 16 GB RAM requirement provide an early reference point, but they do not establish how the game will perform on any particular system.

Meeting a minimum specification generally establishes a baseline for supported hardware, not a guaranteed frame rate.

There are currently no verified public benchmarks establishing ECC: REDLINE's performance at 1080p, 1440p, or 4K.

It is also unclear how performance varies between the main tactical survival mode and the separately reported 32v32 large-scale battles.

How to check your PC specifications

Windows provides several ways to check the components installed in your computer.

  1. Open Settings > System > About to find your processor, installed RAM, Windows version, and system type.

  2. Open Task Manager > Performance > GPU to identify your graphics card.

  3. Open File Explorer > This PC to check available storage space.

  4. Compare those details with the published requirements for the version of ECC: REDLINE you intend to play.

You can also press Windows + R, enter dxdiag, and open the Display tab to inspect your graphics hardware information.

If you're using a laptop, check the exact GPU model rather than relying only on its product family. Desktop and laptop graphics processors with similar names can have different performance characteristics.

Does ECC: REDLINE require an SSD?

NetEase has not specified an SSD requirement on the game's global Steam listing.

The provisional first-test storage figure is 150 GB, but an SSD requirement has not been confirmed.

Until the official installation requirements are available in full, there is no verified basis for stating that the game requires an NVMe SSD or supports installation on a mechanical hard drive.

The download size also remains unconfirmed. Required free storage space and the size of the initial download are not necessarily identical.

Will ECC: REDLINE support low-end PCs?

NetEase has not published enough verified performance data to establish how ECC: REDLINE runs on lower-end hardware.

The reported minimum graphics card for the first PC test is an RTX 2060, but the final game's requirements may differ from those of a limited prerelease build.

There is also no confirmed performance data for integrated graphics or older entry-level dedicated GPUs.

The game uses NetEase's Messiah engine, according to prerelease technical information, but the choice of engine alone does not establish hardware requirements or expected frame rates.

Players should wait for verified specifications or representative benchmarks before assuming that a particular lower-end PC can run the game smoothly.

Does ECC: REDLINE support Windows 10, Windows 11, or Linux?

Windows 10 and Windows 11 are the two operating systems currently listed on Steam. Both require a 64-bit installation.

NetEase has not announced native Linux or macOS versions.

Steam Deck compatibility has not been confirmed either. The Steam Deck uses a Linux-based operating system by default, and there is no verified information establishing whether ECC: REDLINE works through Proton.

The game also has no confirmed public performance data for handheld Windows gaming PCs.

When will the full ECC: REDLINE PC requirements be revealed?

ECC: REDLINE's first limited PC test begins on October 15, 2026, with selected participants receiving access to a prerelease build.

NetEase has not announced when it will complete the minimum and recommended hardware specifications on Steam.

The full release date is also listed as "Coming soon."

For now, Windows 10/11 support is confirmed, while the reported RTX 2060 minimum, RTX 5060 recommended GPU, and associated memory and storage figures should be treated as information about the first Chinese PC test rather than final global requirements.

The official Steam listing remains the primary reference for the game's eventual worldwide PC specifications.
